“We absolutely should not have been billed for this "service". We have been loyal customers across all of your services. You were always our first call. I'm not sure of the technician's name. I only see from the invoice that "Matt" said the charge was valid.
For this particular "service call", the technician suggested that it might be a bad well pump and said to call the well company, and if that was what it was, for us to call and pay for the service call. Just so you know, the service technician did not take out a tool, not even a pencil, while he was at our house. He didn't even touch anything. He just said what he thought it might be – something that you don't service. We, in good faith, thought your company would value loyal customers and have some decency/honor in knowing that no service was rendered. We called the well company, and they said it was not a faulty well pump. We let your company know that and were told that we still needed to pay the invoice. We are beyond disappointed in the lack of respect, loyalty, and customer service that was provided. The company signs your emails "Your friends at Quality Service Company." Although we totally understand this is a business and you're in it to make money, someone coming out and saying what he thinks it might be and not touching anything or doing any analysis – just giving his opinion – should not warrant this service fee. Friends don't treat friends like that.
We live in a neighborhood that has many houses and word of mouth is how we all find our service providers. Unfortunately, based on this incident, we will not be able to say good things about your company and will now be looking for new service providers for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.”
